Super Bowl 50 had a tremendous amount of hype throughout the long NFL

season.

Footballs biggest game of the year was being played at beautiful Santa Clara,

California at the brand new Levis Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super

Bowl 50 was characterized as the “golden anniversary” of the super bowl era which

was portrayed by the NFL all throughout the year. With every field having the fifty

yard line painted gold, and the Super Bowl logo painted gold helped football fans

celebrate an amazing fifty years of Super Bowls.

This years Super Bowl consisted of the Denver Broncos and the Carolina

Panthers. The Panthers just came off their best season yet, putting up an astounding

record of 15-1. With their electric offense and MVP quarterback, Cam Newton, the

Panthers were the heavy favorites coming into Sunday’s matchup. But that was not

the case on Sunday night.

The Broncos led the whole game thanks to their hard nose defense. The leagues

number one ranked defense did not give Cam Newton any breathing room, forcing

him to throw twenty three in complete passes while getting sacked six times. The

former MVP quarterback in Peyton Manning did not have an amazing game either,

but still found out ways to put the football in the end zone.

The Broncos ended up winning 24-10, capturing their third Super Bowl

victory in franchise history. Peyton Manning was the talk of the show after the

game. With that victory on Sunday night, Peyton Manning now has 2 super bowl

rings and also 200 career wins, becoming the winnigest quarterback in NFL history.

The big question that followed the Broncos win was, was this Peyton Manning’s last

game ever? Manning did not give a straight answer. As of now Manning is just going

to enjoy the win with his family and teammates and put his decision on hold for the

time being.
