STAC Career Services will hold its annual Job and Internship Fair in the gymnasium from 12:30 p.m to 3:30pm Thursday.

STAC’s Career Services team “could not be more excited to hold this event yet again for all of our students,” said Maureen Mulhern, STAC’s director of career development.

Some 60 employers will have a booth in the gymnasium, ready to speak with students about summer jobs, summer internships, part time jobs and full time jobs.

The event has something for STAC students in every class — freshmen unsure what they want to do and upperclassmen looking for a job or internship.

Students are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress as if they were attending a job interview.

Not only does the fair provide an opportunity for students to network and explore career options, but there will be prizes too.

“We’ll have lots of raffle prizes,” Mulhern said. “All students who attend will get 2 entries into our raffles.”

Students can earn additional raffles for every employer they approach and more for completing a brief survey.  

Prizes include a Lululemon Studio Mirror, two Smart TVs, an Amazon gift card, Chick-fil-A gift cards, and many other prizes.

The first 150 attendees will receive padfolios and all attendees can have their headshots taken for LinkedIn.
